tells about human suffering as well as justice herman wouk wrote "the beginning of the end of war lies in remembrance." only when each side leaves its own "narrative" is there room for hope. This book, written by an israeli reporter, documents not only the criminal justice system, but the human suffering on both sides of a complex conflict. this is important because only through the telling and validation of all sides of suffering, - through that remembrance, can we begin to have hope for the end of suffering for all people involved. well written - has the potential to open eyes and thus bring hope

Both sides of an important issue Yonah Bob provides a first hand human view of justice in the West Bank (Judaea summaria). After reading this book I feel like I can appreciate the difficulty on both sides of the Israel Palestinian conflict. Highly recommended.
