Using the Harvard Case Method, this text covers both financial and managerial topics in one term at the graduate (MBA) level. Although this textbook requires no previous accounting knowledge, it could, however, appeal to advanced undergraduates and/or upper-tiered AACSB schools. The main features are: emphasis on financial reporting from a user perspective; a overall "decision-making" theme based on what managers who work with accounting information need to know and a case method used extensively with text narrative which ties concepts together.
